Accessibility Guide
Everyone, regardless of their needs, deserves to be treated with dignity and to receive the highest standard of care, service, and attention. At Cameron House, we are dedicated to providing this to all our guests and have implemented various features to ensure everyone enjoys our facilities.
The resort spans over two sites, approximately a 7-minute drive apart. Both the Hotel and the Cameron Club and Spa have three floors, all accessible by lifts. The Marina and La Vista restaurant are located on the ground floor and feature both level and ramped access.
General Access:
- Wheelchair and level access to all buildings across the resort
- Main access to the hotel is stepped, but we have a wheelchair friendly route at the side
- Dropped kerbs at entrances to buildings
- Lifts within the hotel and Cameron Club and Spa buildings to access all guest areas
- Handrails at all stairs (internal and external)
- Guide dogs welcome
Parking/ drop-off points:
- Accessible parking across resort
- Valet parking at Cameron House Hotel
- Drop-off points at the hotel, Cameron Club and Spa, and Marina for guests with limited mobility
- Disabled taxi services available
Rooms:
- Rooms available with accessible features (e.g. grab rails, emergency cords)
- Vibrating pillow fire alarms available
Restaurants:
- Dining areas are all accessible
- Staff able to assist with special dietary requirements
Emergency Procedures:
- Fire alarms are tested weekly
- Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan can be agreed upon guest arrival
